I enjoy this series and was really looking forward to this installment. It was enjoyable, but I really wish the books were a bit longer and we got more of the couple. This series is interesting and not lit-porn the way a lot of supernatural romances are. The love scenes (scene?) are pretty tame and the characters are what holds the reader's interest.... which makes it even more frustrating that as soon as we get a glimpse of them actually together the story is over and it's time to move on to the next couple. It's like the writer invests in the characters' journey to love, but then doesn't know what to do with them once they get there. It's this entire series' greatest weakness since it happens in EVERY book, and is a real shame because the characters and world she has built are very compelling.Product details

I really liked this book it put a new spin on vampire romance. It was great!!! I would highly recommend if you like paranormal romance.;
Great series
I bought this book after reading the free book that is the first in the series by the author. The first book was short but I liked the story so when I bought this one which was a lot longer I was looking forward to a good read. It was a good book but it was not great. I enjoyed it but I did feel like the story didn't suck me in like other books too. I am not sure why because the plot was there but the writing just didn't transport me to the world the book was living in. Too bad, but still for the money not a bad read.
I loved the Dardanos series and I can't wait for the next book. The stories were well written and easy to follow along I was on the edge of my seat as I sat down to read the series. Does anyone know when the next book is coming out or what the title of the next book is.Each character is unique in his or her own way I love this series.
Lots of push and pull between the H/h. Cormac is all alpha and he's used to being in control. Josey is a brilliant woman who isn't going to let anyone dictate her decisions. I loved the verbal banter between these two.

I laughed, got angry and just wanted to smack Cormac and found myself asking out loud "what where you thinking?" When the last page came I wanted more. How can this just end like this. The writer knows how to keep you interested and wanting more. I love books that have me searching for what happens next. Yes it has the same theme, man meets woman, falls in love with said woman. Doesn't sound like a good read but it is. You find out what makes this better then your fifth grade romance. You start off wanting Cormac to just leave Josey alone and then you find yourself wanting Josey to give Cormac a chance. Would say more but don't want to spoil it for someone else. Very well worth the price.
Although this says book 1. On Goodreads it says the blood king is bk1 and I agree with goodreads. It makes sense to me because there is rushed gaps in the beginning of this book that you felt you were missing important things. I’ve read this series before but it’s been a long time. Each story fills in bits of the gaps. I almost wished all of these didn’t happen at the same time so you didn’t have to rehash over those scenes again and also already see the characters play out a bit
